Who is AGM?

AGM is an educational consulting firm with more than 18 years of experience, that assists mainly Spanish families who want to study at universities in the United States.

It has recently expanded its market to Mexico and Latin America. The company specializes in the management of sports scholarships for 18 years, and now they have started to do so in Mexico and Latin America. They also have programs for female athletes and initiatives for the return of talent to Spain. They make arrangements to obtain sports scholarships as well as academic and international scholarships.

They are members of European and American associations such as the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) and the International Alliance that ensure compliance with the requirements and regulations for athletes applying for university scholarships. These associations work together to achieve different objectives in this area.

What did AGM need?

Streamline communication with those interested in applying for a scholarship to study in the United States.

One of the main problems AGM Education was facing was the large number of calls they were receiving from families who were interested in the option of studying in the United States.

In order to qualify each lead and give the specific information (each case is different), AGM needed to collect information on level, age, budget… and academic situation of each student. But managing everything and everyone was neither efficient nor fast. Also, entering contacts manually was time-consuming.

On the other hand, when they organized events, offers or informative sessions for customers they used e-mails, calls and individual WhatsApp messages.

But the effort didn’t turn into the expected benefits.

What was the solution?

Use a direct communication channel that allows them to automate tasks.

Using WOZTELL and Zoho Cliq, AGM set up auto-reply messages using WhatsApp templates to immediately take care of the tens of families that contact them daily asking for information about the scholarship and the American opportunity.

They have also launched three WhtsApp campaigns to keep their customers informed and draw new ones.

With these campaigns they were able to inform customers and prospects about events and offers. Their next challenge will be launching new WhatsApp campaigns to get more interaction and participation in events.

With the implementation of WhatsApp and Zoho Cliq, they have also been able to answer the messages faster and collect the data efficiently and automatically by connecting everything to their CRM. In addition, the entire team can access conversations and check the information of each contact so they can help the families that need it in a better way.

On the other hand, they are starting to use chatbots to manage the first communications with contacts automatically. This chatbot asks questions about sport level, type of sport and other data in order to qualify quickly and evaluate prospects and provide them with the necessary information.

We have configured everything through a chatbot so that for example a swimmer can send us their marks directly and other data that if they still were on the forms would be very long, some complete it, others don’t.
