Partner Summit 2022: Account Migration

At WOZTELL, we are now in a period of adaptation and migration.

That’s why at the Partner Summit 2022 we wanted to explain what is this migration and what it implies for our partners.

With the addition of the new version and its improvements, there are also some changes to take into account.

n this section of the Partner Summit we had our CRO, Pau Vélaz and the moderation of Eduardo Marchuet, our COO.

They took the time to answer all the questions that our partners had about the migration. Let’s get started!

What is a version migration?

When creating a new version of the platform, the goal is to maintain existing features while enhancing others.

To provide context, solutions have been added progressively up to 2021. It is a constant work, and we were aware that these improvements needed to be fully integrated into the platform.

Our routine is to release a new version every 2 years to develop and consolidate the improvements.

With this new version all the improvements for previous customers are integrated and new customers will enjoy them from the beginning.

In case of having an account before February 1, 2022, the account migration will take place during January until June 2022.

What are the advantages of working with the new version?

With this new version we are looking to improve the level of usability and features offered.

We also have a project to create a marketplace for our partners to offer their chatbot creation services to end customers.

As we have already mentioned, a free plan has also been created with all kinds of functionalities, besides new features with the integration of WhatsApp.

Who is affected by migration?

This is such an important point that it is worth repeating the information:

The migration affects any account created before February 1, 2022.

As a partner you don’t have to do anything for the moment, just wait for the WOZTELL support team to contact you and give you the necessary instructions on how to proceed.

How much effort does the migration involve for customers?

At WOZTELL we have a team of engineers working to make the process as non-invasive as possible.

Some accounts will migrate automatically without any effort from the customer.

However, others (depending on the service or feature) will require some actions such as reconnecting chats and channels, or accepting new privacy policies.

Our engineering team will explain any other doubts or peculiarities to our users and guide them through the process.

How to plan the migration?

Our team is planning each migration according to account characteristics, channels and other factors such as schedule.

During this six-month period, customers will be contacted to start the process.
