Version 1.3.0 is built on OpenAI’s Responses API, giving you access to the latest GPT models, plus three integrated tools that go far beyond answering questions. Your assistant can now search the web in real time, answer from your own uploaded documents, and trigger external actions through Function Calling — like pulling order status or logging a lead into your CRM, without any human in the loop.
Key Features of the Extension
- Custom Prompt Training: Start by defining who your assistant is. Write instructions that set its role, tone, personality, and boundaries — just like briefing a new team member.
- Knowledge Base via Vector Stores: Upload your own files — product catalogues, FAQs, return policies, pricing sheets — and your assistant will search them to answer customer questions accurately.
- Web Search: Give your assistant access to live information from the web. You can open it up broadly or restrict it to specific domains and URLs — useful when you want your assistant to pull from your website or a trusted source, but nothing else.
- Function Calling: Connect your assistant to external systems — checking order status, retrieving customer data, submitting a form, updating a CRM record. Any action your systems support can be triggered directly from a customer conversation. This requires external technical integration, but unlocks fully automated end-to-end workflows.
- Voice Message: Support Audio messages from your customers are automatically transcribed using OpenAI’s Whisper model before being passed to the assistant. Your AI handles voice the same way it handles text — no extra setup, no missed messages.
